La Bodeguita del Medio (La B del M) is a Cuban restaurant
located in a cosy alleyway off Kensington High Street, a five minute
stroll from Derry Street and the underground station.
We are open 7 days a week, 5pm until 11pm. La B del M - translated as The Little Bar in the Middle - was named
after the original bar located in Old Havana, established in 1942 and
famed as the home of the Mojito cocktail and favourite haunt of many
glitterati including Ernest Hemingway. There are several areas in which to dine, enjoy drinks or relax. The
bar at the front draws big crowds in the evenings and offers informal
seating whilst the restaurant at the back, divided into two sections,
has more formal tables and banquettes and allows guests to have lunch
or dinner comfortably in a more sedate atmosphere. |
